SYNOPSIS:
Chaos. A fever dream. A soul trapped within the cyclical throws of sin. From Australian-Kenyan artist Elsy Wameyo comes the first single from her sophomore project, SINNER.
dIRECTOR'S STATEMENT:
SINNER is madness by choice. From the unusual set design, and costume decisions to the aggressive camera movements. Everything was designed to communicate the very human comfort found in sin. And the tumult it breeds. It was clear from the very first interactions with Elsy that these music videos needed to exist within the same world. The tone of these projects differs slightly yet the performers, lighting and overlapping footage tie them together.
